Sustainable Mobile Technology

To achieve these objectives, Assurant offers a suite of services for our clients and customers and implements incentive and promotional programs that motivate consumers to participate. By providing multiple avenues for sustainable mobile device technology use, including upgrades, trade-ins, and recycling, we help maximize the value of pre-owned devices. This generates additional revenue streams for our clients and creates a positive environmental impact. In 2023, we rolled out Assurant Carbon IQSM, a solution that provides end-to-end CO2 impact assessment to help companies define and refine their circularity strategy for the mobile device ecosystem.

Our Circularity Goal

We want to be the world’s most impactful re-use and refurbishment solutions provider and partner of choice for mobile devices and transform the way people think about refurbishment and extending the life of electronics and appliances. To achieve this, we will continue to embed circularity into our operations and our products. Our goals include; establish metrics to measure the integration of circularity throughout our global supply chain and expanding Assurant Carbon IQ℠ beyond mobile devices such as smartwatches.
